Tide's out at St. Mary's lighthouse

Mushroom Works artist, Joanne Wishart will be transforming the gallery into a seaside haven for all you beachcombers out there to come and explore.  Joanne will be showcasing a selection of new paintings inspired by some of our North East coastal landmarks with St Mary’s Island, Whitley Bay and Tynemouth Priory, all captured in Joanne's unique style.

Joanne will have lots of other seaside treats in store as she's been working on some new techniques using printmaking, stitching and mixed media to create and develop her very individual artwork on traditional seaside deckchairs.

So, grab your buckets and spades, put on the suncream and come and be the first to see her new colourful creations which will transport you back to those care-free days of walking along the sand, eating ice-cream, and relaxing on a 'seaside holiday'.

There'll be lots of affordable work to buy from greetings cards and ceramic coasters to limited edition prints and smaller artworks
that will be available during the exhibition.
