Make It in the Ouseburn

Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th September
10am – 5pm

FREE ENTRY

This September see's the 20th anniversary of Heritage Open Days and to celebrate we’ll be opening the doors and taking visitors on a 200 year journey of our building. As we're stuffed to the rafters with creativity, we’ll be running a selection of heritage skills workshops for people to pre-book onto. Choose from one or more with silver clay jewellery, stone carving, tool sharpening, crochet, mug and teapot making and wood carving all on offer.

There’ll be plenty to see and do over the whole weekend with an exhibition of tenant's work, heritage skills workshops, demonstrations, a talk and tour and an opportunity to meet and buy or commission work direct from the artists and designers. Once you’re here, grab a bite to eat and a drink from the region’s best food and drinks producers.

Please pre-book onto heritage skills workshops as places are limited. The talk and tour (12 - 1pm) is limited to a max of 25 people.

Go to www.mushroomworks.com/whatson to pre-book onto any of the heritage skills workshops.
