Mushroom Works’ Spring Salon is a one-day showcase exhibition presenting the very best of the best in groundbreaking art and design from the region.

This one-day Spring Salon is a unique opportunity to come and meet these artists and designers in their studios and find out what fresh ideas, designs and products they are currently working on and developing.

The artists and designers will be encouraging you to explore your own creative-ideas in our ‘creative garden’, where with the help of your little ‘bag of ingredients’ you’ll be able to plant your own seeds of creativity and watch them grow.

The Spring Salon is also a great opportunity to pick up affordable paintings, furniture, jewellery, pottery, textiles, illustrations and design or commission work direct from the artists and designers just in time for Mothers Day.

There'll also be more information on our programme of events and activities, as well as workshops and classes taking place at Mushroom Works that you can sign up to join.

This Super Sale weekend will be a chance for you all to come and grab some real offers across a selection of handcrafted work from paintings, illustrations, furniture, pottery, jewellery, drawings, textiles and much more!!

Come and browse around the building, meet the artists and designers and find that special something that can’t be found on the high street.

The hinges on the doors are getting oiled as we speak as it's only just over two weeks until we throw open our doors for Ouseburn Open Studios. This annual cultural weekend is a real must for anyone interested in meeting the artists, designers and craftspeople who use this building to let their imaginations and skills come to life.

Get here early on preview night to grab a bargain with our unique exhibition of original 20cm x 20cm artworks (paintings, ceramics, textiles, glass, wood, drawings, collage and mixed media) that are on sale for the unbelievably bonkers price of only £20!!!! 

This open studios weekend is all about encouraging people to come and find out for themselves what makes creative people tick, chat to them about their work and buy or commission something that is beautifully handcrafted with love and care.
